| Bed :- |
| It is gap bed lathe having vee on one surface while the other one is flat. Both the surface are Hand Scrapped/Grinded to close tolerances. The bed has been designed to possess utmost rigidity and can safely withstand heavy loads. The casting of the bed and slide etc. has been graded with brinnel hardness of 200 BHN (+-10%) and is equivalent to IS 210 grade 20. |

| Headstock :- |
| Is of sturdy design and robust construction. The main spindle run on Taper roller bearings for max. balance and smooth running. Hob cut sliding type reversing gears and shafts are made of high steels, immersed in oil bath reducing the wear of parts and power losses of the machine to a maximums. |

| Apron Box :- |
| Engaging and disengaging automatic sliding and surfacing feeds are effected by single lever designed with special technique. An interlock device prevents simultanious engaging of half nut and feed. All the gears are of steel and shafts have ball bearings and run in oil bath. |

| Saddle :- |
| The saddles has large bearings surface and slides on Vee-way in the front and the Vee-ways at the rear provision are provided on the cross slide for attaching a rear tool post and grinding attachments. The compound rest can be swivelled through 360° and is graduated to 90° on either sides. The cross slide screw and compound rest screw run on thrust bearings and provided with two nuts by adjusting which, the backslash can be eliminated. Latest arrangements like internal lubricating systems, wipers protecting bedways and interlocking devices suitable to increase productivity. |

| Thread and Feed Box :- |
| Is suitable to cut whitworth and metric threads. All thread cutting operations can be obtained only with the help of a lever but without changing the back gears range. All the gears are of Hob cut and are properly hardened and all the internal shafts are fitted on bearing and run in oil bath. |

| Tail Stock :- |
| The robustly constructed tail stock on separate prismatic guideways on the bed and can be locked by a lever. For turning slight taper, the tail stock body can be laterly adjusted at the base. It has long Bearing with in the barrel and ensures true alignments. |
